In the Night Garden Cake

A child’s 1st birthday is a memorable event for any parent..and extraordinary cakes make the day so much more special! To celebrate Anneke’s 1st birthday we designed her an ‘In the Night Garden’ cake featuring Iggle Piggle – her favourite character! The loveable kids TV show inspired all the different design elements on the cake and if your a fan you might just recognise some of them!

Layers of fluffy Vanilla Bean sponge make up this cake with a Cookies ‘n’ Cream frosting – adding loads of flavour and a crunchy texture.

A fun, bright and enchanting forest theme decorates the sides of the cake with a range of flowers, winding trees and layers of leaves. These handmade details set the scene for our main star – Iggle Piggle who is wandering down the stepping stone path, holding his favourite red blanket! He waves hello to the birthday girl with the moon and stars floating above him. Iggle Piggle is of course  edible, hand crafted and designed down to the very last detail – but I think he might be a little to cute to eat!

You can meet all different types of clowns with outrageous hats, colourful hair – and lets not forget a big red nose! All hand crafted to capture the detail and cheekiness of a clown. 

Inside the circus tent there is dairy free gingerbread cookies on sticks hand decorated as clown faces! You can joke around with them or better yet – just eat them! We also have fresh buttery popcorn decorated cupcakes for you to munch on whilst you enjoy the circus themed party.
